APC & Waiver Policy
1. Introduction
The Journal of Global Research in Multidisciplinary Studies (JGRMS) is committed to providing high-quality, peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly publishing while maintaining transparency regarding publication charges.
To support the editorial process, manuscript management, production, digital publication, long-term preservation, and indexing services, the journal may charge an Article Processing Charge (APC) after a manuscript has been accepted for publication.
Submission of a manuscript is free of charge. No fee is charged for manuscript submission or peer review.
2. Article Processing Charge (APC)
The APC is charged only after a manuscript has successfully completed peer review and has been formally accepted for publication.
The APC supports:
- Editorial management
- Double-blind peer review administration
- Copyediting
- Language checking
- Typesetting
- DOI registration (where applicable)
- Online publication
- Website maintenance
- Long-term digital preservation
- Metadata preparation
- Indexing support
Payment of the APC does not influence the editorial decision.
Editorial decisions are based solely on:
- Scientific quality
- Originality
- Methodological rigor
- Relevance to the journal's scope
- Compliance with ethical standards
3. Current APC
The current APC for accepted manuscripts is:
| Category | Fee |
|---|---|
| Indian Authors | ₹ 2500 |
| International Authors | USD 150 |
The applicable APC is displayed on the journal website and may be revised periodically. Any changes will apply only to new submissions and will not affect manuscripts already under review.
4. No Charges for the Following
JGRMS does not charge fees for:
- Manuscript submission
- Initial editorial screening
- Peer review
- Rejected manuscripts
- Editorial decision-making
Authors are only asked to pay the APC after receiving a formal acceptance notification.
5. Waiver Policy
JGRMS is committed to supporting researchers who may face financial constraints. Full or partial waivers of the APC may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Waiver requests should be submitted before or at the time of manuscript submission, or immediately after acceptance if exceptional circumstances arise.
6. Eligibility for APC Waivers
Waivers may be considered for:

8. Payment Process
After acceptance, the corresponding author will receive:
- An official acceptance letter.
- APC payment instructions.
- Payment deadline.
- Receipt or invoice upon request.
The article will proceed to production after confirmation of the APC payment or approval of a waiver, where applicable.

Refunds may be considered only in exceptional circumstances, such as:
- Duplicate payment.

Requests for refunds will be reviewed by the Editorial Office.
