Repository / Self-Archiving Policy
1. Introduction
The Journal of Global Research in Multidisciplinary Studies (JGRMS) supports the broad dissemination and long-term preservation of scholarly research through responsible self-archiving and repository deposit. As a fully Open Access journal, JGRMS encourages authors to maximize the visibility, accessibility, and impact of their published work by depositing articles in appropriate repositories.
Authors retain copyright in their work and are encouraged to archive their publications in accordance with this policy.
2. Purpose
The objectives of this policy are to:
- Promote open access to scholarly research.
- Increase the visibility and citation of published articles.
- Support long-term preservation of research outputs.
- Enable compliance with institutional and funding agency requirements.
- Encourage responsible sharing of scholarly work.
3. Versions That May Be Archived
Authors may archive the following versions of their manuscripts:
Preprint (Author's Original Manuscript)
The version of the manuscript before peer review.
Authors may:
- Post preprints on personal websites.
- Deposit preprints in institutional repositories.
- Deposit preprints in recognized preprint servers.
Authors are encouraged to update the preprint record after publication by adding the full citation and DOI of the published article.
Accepted Manuscript (Author Accepted Manuscript – AAM)
The version accepted after peer review but before journal typesetting and publication.
Authors may:
- Deposit the accepted manuscript in institutional repositories.
- Archive it in subject repositories.
- Share it on personal websites.
Authors should clearly indicate that this version has been accepted for publication and include a citation to the final published article once available.
Version of Record (Published Article)
The final published version available on the JGRMS website.
Because JGRMS is an Open Access journal publishing articles under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, authors may immediately share and archive the published Version of Record.
No embargo period applies.
4. Where Authors May Archive
Authors are encouraged to deposit their work in:

5. Citation Requirements
When archiving any version of the manuscript, authors should include:
- Full article title.
- Author names.
- Journal name.
- Volume and issue.
- Publication year.
- DOI (if assigned).
- Link to the official published version on the JGRMS website.
This helps ensure that readers access the authoritative version of the scholarly record.
6. Embargo Policy
JGRMS does not impose any embargo period.
Authors may archive the accepted manuscript and the published Version of Record immediately upon publication.
