Copyright Policy
1. Copyright Ownership
The Journal of Global Research in Multidisciplinary Studies (JGRMS) recognizes the importance of protecting the intellectual property rights of authors while promoting the widest possible dissemination of scholarly research.
Authors retain the copyright of their published work. Submission and publication in JGRMS do not transfer copyright ownership to the journal or the publisher.
Upon acceptance of a manuscript, authors grant JGRMS and Saanvi Publications a non-exclusive, worldwide license to:
- Publish the article in print and electronic formats.
- Reproduce, distribute, and archive the published work.
- Display and communicate the article to the public.
- Include the article in indexing services, databases, and digital repositories.
- Preserve the article through recognized digital preservation services.
Because the license is non-exclusive, authors remain free to reuse their work in accordance with this policy.
2. Author Rights
Authors retain the following rights after publication:
- Copyright ownership of their work.
- The right to reuse all or part of the article in future books, dissertations, or teaching materials.
- The right to share the published article with colleagues.
- The right to post the published version on personal websites.
- The right to deposit the published article in institutional or subject repositories.
- The right to present the work at conferences and academic meetings.
- The right to distribute copies for educational and research purposes.
Authors should acknowledge the original publication in JGRMS when reusing or redistributing the article.
3. Publisher Rights
To facilitate publication and long-term dissemination, authors grant the publisher a non-exclusive license to:
- Publish and distribute the article.
- Assign and maintain Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs), where applicable.
- Archive the article permanently.
- Submit metadata to indexing and abstracting services.
- Preserve the scholarly record.
The publisher does not acquire ownership of the copyright.
4. Licensing
All articles published in JGRMS are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, unless otherwise stated.
Under this license, users may:

- Adapt

- Redistribute
- Build upon the published work
for any lawful purpose, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s), a link to the license is provided, and any changes made are indicated.
The applicable Creative Commons license should be clearly displayed on every published article and PDF.
5. Author Responsibilities
Authors are responsible for ensuring that:
- The submitted manuscript is their original work.
- They have obtained permission to use any third-party copyrighted material.
- All copyrighted figures, tables, photographs, illustrations, and datasets have appropriate permissions when required.
- Proper acknowledgment is provided for reused content.
Failure to obtain necessary permissions may delay publication or result in rejection.
6. Third-Party Material
If a manuscript contains copyrighted material owned by another party, authors must:
- Obtain written permission from the copyright holder before submission, unless an applicable exception or license permits reuse.
- Clearly acknowledge the original source.
- Provide permission documentation to the editorial office upon request.
Authors remain responsible for any copyright infringement arising from the use of third-party material.
7. Self-Archiving
Authors are encouraged to maximize the visibility of their work by depositing the published version in:
- Institutional repositories
- Subject-specific repositories
- Personal websites
- University profile pages
- Academic networking platforms, where permitted by the platform's terms
- Research sharing services
When sharing the article, authors should include:
- The complete citation.
- The DOI (if assigned).
- A link to the official journal version.
8. Permissions
No additional permission is required from JGRMS or Saanvi Publications for uses permitted under the article's Creative Commons license.
Requests for uses beyond the scope of the applicable license should be directed to the Editorial Office.
9. Copyright Infringement
If copyright infringement is suspected, JGRMS will:
- Investigate the complaint.
- Contact the relevant parties.
- Take appropriate editorial action.
- Correct or retract the article if necessary.
Serious copyright violations may result in:
- Rejection of the manuscript.
- Retraction of the published article.
- Notification of the author's institution or funding body, where appropriate.
10. Changes to this Policy
JGRMS may revise this Copyright Policy periodically to reflect changes in legal requirements, publishing standards, or journal practices.
The most recent version of the policy will always be available on the journal website and will apply to future submissions.
